Should I have to pay the $120 fine for improper city sticker if I had winshield replaced?

I got my winshield busted a month ago and I got a ticket this morning for improper display of city sticker cause it's a lil ripped Ithought I just wait because it's still good until June...Should I request a In-person hearing? or am I gonna be waisting my time? I have the receipt for the winshield replacing, police report for the incident and receipt for my city sticker that I bought...please if anyone can give a clue on waht to do??? Thanks for your help!!!
