There was a show on national geographic that stated that violent interactions between chimpanzee's and humans-?
Apes have cultures in that sometimes one ape will learn to do something (such as use a rock or a stick as a tool for a certain purpose), and all the other apes in his tribe learn it from him, but the same species in other parts of the world don't know how to do it although they may have some other behavior unique to them. I don't think they'll ever learn to use our weapons though, and they certainly wouldn't be able to manufacture new ones. For chimps to learn from each other they usually have to get in close and watch something being done several times. I don't think a bunch of chimps running for their lives will ever learn to load or shoot a rifle.
