Pregnant and was in a car accident a couple weeks ago...what should I do about this?

On December 12th I was involved in a car accident. I was a penger in the backseat. I had to go the the hospital because I'm (now) 30 weeks pregnant and suffered some pain. Right after the accident I Had pain in my left knee/shin, pain on my arm (i was sitting next to a car seat and my arm got rammed into it), some neckpain, felt like bruising on my tummy and I started getting cramps in my tummy too. Well I went to the hospital and had to stay there hooked up to monitors for approx 25 hours. When I was discharged I was told that I suffered a contusion of the upper extremity, a contusion of the lower extremity, and a neck sprain. Now they tried to have me do an mri because in the middle of the night -- when i finally did fall asleep for like 20 min i woke up and my arms and the bottom half of my face were going numb. I couldnt complete the mri b/c of how pregnant i am...i cant lay on my back for more than a couple of minutes without ping out. They said I may have nerve damage. Well now my upper back hurts soo bad everyday. I have to take tylenol around the clock for it along with hot baths and it still really hurts. I have piercing pain in my shoulder blade now and at times it hurts so bad I actually vomit from the pain it causes. I have now been referred to an orthopedist because of this.My question is-- should I seek money (aside from just the medical bills being covered) ?? The girl who hit the car I was in was determined at fault. If I should seek some sort of monetary award -- how do I determine how much to ask for?, etc. How do I go about getting this taken care of?? Has anyone heard of any situation like this or been in a similar situation -- if so what did you do and what was the outcome? Thanks so much! :)
