Do Europeans feel jealous about US prosperity ?

I think Europe probably views the US like a much younger sibling. Somethimes enchanted with us finding us amusing and energetic and othertimes they just have to shake their heads at our foolishness and arrogance. Remember we are still a very young country and I think sometimes we get too big for our britches with the whole pride thing. We still have to mature a bit and learn to play well with others.
